PROXY is a two-block project, located on the corner of Hayes and Octavia in San Francisco, that seeks to host a flexible environment of food, art, culture, and retail within renovated shipping containers. It was conceptualized and now managed by award winning architectural firm envelope A+D, with the intent to encourage the rotation of new ideas and businesses as well as innovative public art installations.

The 20th Street corridor will be transformed into a free party to showcase and celebrate a diverse neighborhood that blends modern ideas with community traditions to create a new San Francisco experience. This free, delicious summer feast and dance party will feature some of the city’s best restaurants, local businesses and artisans as well as a variety of indie bands and DJs. This will be Das Bus' 2nd year at 20th Street Block Party, and it's one of our favorite festivals of the year!
Join us for an evening at San Francisco's Exploratorium, experiencing photography’s evolution from analog to digital, looking at photographic printing techniques, and hearing from photographers about their art and craft and what makes an image memorable.

They say the more we are connected to our screens and devices, the less we are connected to our world and each other. With the StrangeLove experiment from Das Bus, we encourage you to connect with new people you've never met before on our screen, and let the magic of first-time interactions unfold through the photo booth experience. StrangeLove participants will receive their photo strips for free, and are encouraged to find as many new people as they can handle to enjoy the photo booth with.
