Joe and Tarak's Bright and Beautiful Petaluma Farm Wedding

On August 15, 2015 Das Bus arrived at Bloomfield Farms in Petaluma, California for the first time ever. As we drove past the most gorgeous, iconic rustic barn and up into the golden hills we couldn't help but feel giddy over being in the deep, secluded farm lands of Petaluma.
We hadn't met Joe and Tarak yet, but as we setup on the hillside above the barn we saw these bright, beautiful umbrellas being laid out and a DJ getting setup (at 3pm mind you), and we knew we were in for a treat.
Guests arrived and were each handed a unique colorful cloth umbrella to guard from the hot sun. They sipped lemonade while dancers and drummers dressed in a symphony of colors made their entrance and performed a glorious traditional Indian dance for the celebration. It was completely stunning!

As cocktail hour ended, guests headed out to Joe and Tarak's marriage ceremony and Das Bus packed up and drove further up into the hillside on the farm. Words can't describe how serene and stunning the scenery is out there, so we'll let Suzanne Karp's photography speak a thousand words.
Everyone was in awe of the surreal beauty of the surroundings, that and the LONGEST banquet table we've ever seen!

As the sun began to set, we packed up the photo booth once more and drove down to the barn for dessert and dancing. The barn was decked out in lush tapestries and cozy lighting, and we posted up with the bus right outside!
It was truly one of the most memorable nights we've had the honor of being a part of with our little VW Bus love booth. Joe and Tarak beamed with cheer and joy throughout the night and are two of the most dear people ever! We loved seeing their flawless fusion of culture, music, scenery and traditions throughout the whole day. I even heard one of them say there were plans for an elephant to carry them off into the night!! The elephant did not make it to Petaluma, but they did have their adorable chocolate pooch with them until the end of the night!
