The Photo Booth Is Born

We finished the wood interior today and it looks fantastic because John is a MASTER craftsman. He covered the curves where the wheels are, matched the arc of the ceiling, cut the holes for the touch screen and camera, and behold - the Das Bus Photo Booth! It feels like you're stepping into a tree house or old wooden boat - which is EXACTLY what we want. 

We bought some thick red curtains that we're going to sew and mount ourselves (even though we have NO clue how to sew). We have LED lights to mount in the corners and a costume trunk in progress (though at this point I refuse to include moustaches). We also just bought tickets to see Willie Nelson at the Greek on April 12th, and, if all goes as planned, this will be Das Bus' first concert photo bomb. Location TBD, but Das Bus is going to be parked in the near proximity before and after the show for people to commemorate the night with sessions in the photo booth. Our goal is to get Willie in it as well. ; ) Also, a very special band from South Carolina will be opening the show, along with Drive by Truckers, called Shovels and Rope. They are sheer, raw, southern, rock, bluesy, country, kooky, awesome-ness. Very, very excited to see them. Hopefully we'll get them in the booth too- DAS RIGHT!
